The matching grant sponsorship is a social contribution activity where employees make regular monthly donations, and the company matches the same amount. For example, if an employee donates 15,000 KRW each month, the company contributes an equal amount.
Since 2015, more than 100 employees have participated annually for nine years, continuously supporting projects for abused children, local underprivileged youth, improvement of healthcare and educational environments in Zambia and Ethiopia, and assistance for grandparent-grandchild families in welfare blind spots.
Park Moonhee, CEO of Daesung Energy, said, "The matching grant sponsorship is a meaningful program in which labor and management participate together with one heart and mind," and added, "Daesung Energy will continue to do its best to practice ESG sharing management for the realization of a healthy society."
