Baekseok University Department of Food Service Industry Sweeps Gold and More at International Competition Just One Year After Establishment
Achievements of the Korea Food Tourism Expo and Korea International Culinary and Confectionery Competition
The Department of Food Service Industry at Baekseok University achieved the grand prize at an international competition just one year after its establishment.
Baekseok University announced that all participants won awards, including the grand prize (Ministerial Award) and gold prizes, at the "2024 25th Korea Food Tourism Expo Korean International Culinary and Baking Competition," which concluded on the 26th.
The 52 students from the Department of Food Service Industry who participated competed in the 5-person live course meal contest, bakery, and 2-person exhibition contests. They won the grand prize, the highest honor of the competition, and the Jongno District Mayor's Award in the 5-person live course meal category. Additionally, they received the Seoul Mayor's Award in the bakery 2-person exhibition contest.
