Tractor Overturns on Sloped Rice Field Path, Killing Farmer in His 20s
A man in his 20s who was driving a tractor on a sloped rice field road died after being crushed by the overturned tractor.
According to the Hapcheon Police Station in Gyeongnam, at around 2:07 p.m. on the 23rd, a tractor lost its balance and tipped over to the right while running on a sloped rice field road in Samga-myeon, Hapcheon-gun.
As a result of this accident, a man in his 20s, identified as A, suffered serious injuries to his chest and upper body after being pinned under the tractor. He was transported to the hospital but was pronounced dead at 3:34 p.m. that day.
It was found that A was driving the tractor after completing compressed feed packaging work for cattle at the time of the accident.
The police believe the accident occurred when the tractor, passing through a rice field road with a slope of about 30 degrees, tilted to one side. They are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
