The newly opened loess trail was established from the Seolbongsan Meeting Shelter to the Hoam Mineral Spring area. The newly created walking path is a total of 1 km long, of which 242 meters are paved with loess, and the remaining 758 meters have been maintained as a forest trail suitable for barefoot walking. One foot-washing station has also been installed along the route.
Barefoot walking on loess is known to promote blood circulation and help improve skin health. The city explained that the advantage of this loess trail is its gentle course at the beginning of the hiking trail, allowing citizens to take a break without burden and escape from their daily lives.
