Yeongcheon City in North Gyeongsang Province held the '2024 Senior Public Officials Integrity Training' in the city hall's main conference room, with over 60 senior officials including Mayor Choi Kimoon in attendance.

View original imageThe training was conducted for senior public officials at grade 5 or above, with a lecture by Jang Taejun, a professional instructor from the Anti-Corruption Training Institute of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, focusing on preventing abuse of power through generational empathy.
Mayor Choi Kimoon stated, "Above all, the strong will of each department head as an integrity leader is crucial for establishing a culture of integrity," and added, "Please do your best as a driving force for an integrity culture."
Starting with the Integrity Pledge Ceremony at the beginning of the year, Yeongcheon City has been taking the lead in establishing an organizational culture centered on the Integrity Yeongcheon Task Force, with initiatives such as integrity radio broadcasts, anti-corruption and integrity training (February), and abuse prevention training for newly promoted grade 6 officials (March) to improve integrity levels.
