Park Dongsik, Sacheon Mayor, Conducts Intensive Safety Inspection for Korea's Major Safety Transformation
A Total of 80 Locations Including Apartment Complexes, Tourist Accommodation Facilities, and Power and Gas Facilities
Park Dongsik, the Mayor of Sacheon, conducted a joint inspection of local tourist facilities on the 22nd, during the "Korea National Safety Transformation Intensive Safety Inspection" period, together with private experts in fields such as architecture, fire safety, and electricity.

View original imageFor this joint inspection, a total of 80 sites were selected, including apartment complexes, tourist accommodations, and power and gas facilities. Mayor Park Dongsik personally carried out practical joint inspections with relevant organizations and private experts.
In particular, a thorough inspection was conducted on Sacheon Sea Cable Car, the city's representative tourist facility, checking all aspects of the facility such as emergency exit lights and fire extinguisher placements, as well as using drones to inspect exterior areas that are difficult to see with the naked eye.
Additionally, facility managers were urged to thoroughly familiarize themselves with accident response manuals and ensure strict safety management so that damage can be minimized through a prompt response in the event of a fire.
Mayor Park emphasized, "Safety accidents can be prevented by removing risk factors in advance through safety inspections," and requested, "Always pay attention to safety and continue to do your best in safety management to prevent accidents."
