Hyundai Elevator announced that it held a 40th anniversary commemorative event at its headquarters in Chungju on the 22nd. Hyun Jeong-eun, Chairwoman of Hyundai Group, said in her commemorative speech, "Hyundai Elevator has grown into a giant leading a pillar of South Korea's industry through relentless challenges and innovations after Honorary Chairman Chung Ju-yung sowed the seeds 40 years ago," and encouraged, "Just as it has been for the past 40 years, let us achieve the great feat of becoming a 100-year company by adding the miracle of technological innovation."
On the occasion of its 40th anniversary, Hyundai Elevator declared the ESG management slogan 'Together Action, Together Value.' It signifies the healthy growth of all members of the industrial ecosystem beyond shareholders, customers, partners, and local communities.
In the afternoon, all attending executives and employees participated in a 'plogging donation campaign,' dividing the Chungju area into three zones to run and pick up trash. The company accumulates funds based on the number of steps employees take while picking up trash and donates the amount to society. The accumulated fund of 100 million KRW will be donated to local vulnerable groups such as the Leukemia Children's Foundation and scholarships for outstanding talents.
