As the head of Intel's data center AI operations, Na emphasized the importance of solving enterprise AI challenges during a panel discussion themed 'The Approaching Era of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI)' held that day.
Intel recently commissioned market research firm IDC to conduct a survey on AI usage among companies in the Asia-Pacific region, confirming the high importance of enterprise AI. However, despite this corporate demand, actual adoption faces difficulties. This is because there are more constraints compared to when individuals use AI.
Na explained, "Large language models (LLMs) are based on public data, so they work well for individual use, but it is difficult to utilize them for internal corporate tasks, and issues arise regarding timeliness and reliability," adding, "There are also challenges related to software implementation and maturity, so how to use AI has become a corporate challenge."
To address these issues, Intel is introducing various solutions. Na said, "Enterprises also need to think closely about AI adoption," and added, "Since Intel is leading in the enterprise sector based on general Xeon platforms, we are striving to enable AI adoption in new enterprise environments as well."

In line with this trend, the company is actively developing AI-related businesses, including launching processors to support AI PCs. Na stated, "Our important goal is to make AI usable everywhere," and explained, "Not only the business units but the entire company is concentrating all resources on AI, and we are also making changes to our product strategy."

Intel's next-generation AI semiconductor, 'Gaudi3,' will soon be released to the market. Na expressed expectations, saying, "Customers will be able to choose Intel as an alternative rather than being dependent on a specific vendor (NVIDIA), enabling cost-effective solutions." He added, "As we enter the AI era, NVIDIA has been frequently mentioned, but going forward, you will hear Intel's name more often."
