The Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) announced on the 22nd that it has appointed Jeong Jun-ho, CEO of Lotte Shopping Department Store Division, as the new chairman of the Distribution Committee under the KCCI.

Established in 2003, it serves as a consultative body to discuss distribution issues and engages in management support activities such as enhancing the rights and interests of the distribution industry, resolving management difficulties, and proposing policies. The term of office for the Distribution Committee members is two years, and it is composed of 41 CEOs from leading distribution companies including Shinsegae, E-Mart, Homeplus, Hyundai Department Store, GS Retail, BGF Retail, and Asung Daiso.
