KT Jeonnam-Jeonbuk Practices Carbon Neutrality Through Step Donation Campaign
KT Jeonnam-Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters announced on the 21st that it will conduct an employee step-donation campaign for carbon neutrality practice called the 'Shining Walking Donation Challenge.'
The campaign will run for a total of 18 days from the 17th of this month to the 3rd of next month. KT Jeonnam-Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters and the Gwangju Volunteer Corporate Council jointly planned the campaign to protect the environment by reducing carbon emissions and to support vulnerable groups in the local community through the collected step donations.
Employees participating in the step donation use KT's sharing platform application, 'Nanwoojung,' to engage in carbon reduction activities by practicing walking in daily life. When the step goal is achieved, the funds raised will be used by the Volunteer Corporate Council to deliver donated goods to social welfare organizations they select.
