President Yoon also said, "I extend my gratitude to the military medical staff who devoted themselves to saving the life of a comrade," and added, "I wholeheartedly support the family members who are taking care of Sergeant Major Choi with utmost sincerity." He further stated, "We will do our best to create conditions that allow our special forces soldiers to focus on their missions."
