Jung Hyunseop, Director of the Autonomous Administration Bureau, said, "I hope today's volunteer work will be of some help to farms facing difficulties due to rising labor costs and a shortage of workers during the busy farming season," and added, "I also hope that this year's good sweet persimmon harvest will contribute to increasing farmers' incomes."
The staff of the Autonomous Administration Bureau plan to continue supporting local farms facing labor shortages by providing assistance in the second half of the year as well.
