Ulju County Promotes Ulju Rice at Seoul Special Sales Event and Hometown Love Donation Program

Uljugun announced that on the 16th, it held a special sales event for Uljurice (Hwangurice) and a promotional event for the Hometown Love Donation Program at the Nonghyup Distribution Center in Yangjae, Seoul.
The event was attended by Lee Soongeol, Mayor of Uljugun, Seo Beomsu, National Assembly member, the head of the Ulsan branch of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, the head of Dubuk Nonghyup Cooperative, as well as representatives from Uljugun, Yeom Gidong, CEO of Nonghyup Distribution Co., Ltd., and executives from the Seoul branch of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation.
This special sales event was organized to introduce the excellence of Uljurice to consumers in the metropolitan area, open up new sales channels, and promote the consumption of local rice.
During the event, the selling price was set at 57,900 won for 20kg, and the shipping price at 41,000 won, which is about 28% cheaper than the market price.
Alongside the special sales event, Uljugun also promoted the Hometown Love Donation Program. This program allows individuals to donate to local governments other than their place of residence, offering tax benefits and a certain portion of the donation as a return gift. The donations are used for resident welfare and other purposes.
Uljugun held a donation ceremony with executives and employees of the Seoul branch of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation to promote and activate the Hometown Love Donation Program during this event.
