President Yoon Suk-yeol expressed his gratitude on the 15th, Teacher's Day, saying, "If it were not for the kind teachers, I would not be who I am today."
In a Facebook message on the day, President Yoon stated, "Today is Teacher's Day, a day to think about the dedication and love of teachers," and shared his reflections, "As I grow older, I think more about the teachers who raised me during my childhood."
He continued, "I recall each teacher who encouraged me with warm words, and those who disciplined me with a cane," adding, "They taught me how to treat others, instilled patriotism for the country, and planted a sense of responsibility toward society."
President Yoon said, "If it were not for those kind teachers, I would not be who I am today," and expressed, "Thank you very much."
