Active Police Officer Crashes into Guardrail While Driving Under the Influence

An active-duty police officer belonging to the Mobile Unit was booked after causing an accident by crashing into a guardrail while driving under the influence.
On the 14th, the Guro Police Station in Seoul announced that they have booked and are investigating Police Officer A from the 4th Mobile Unit of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act.
Officer A is accused of driving under the influence around 9 a.m. that day and crashing into a guardrail at Oryu IC in Gaebong-dong, Guro-gu. At the time of detection, the blood alcohol concentration was reported to be 0.07%, which corresponds to a license suspension.
