Gangseo-gu, Recruiting 220 Participants for Donghaeng Job Program
Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon) is recruiting 220 participants for the second half of the Donghaeng Job Project until the 17th. The Donghaeng Job Project provides public jobs to support the livelihood and independence of socially vulnerable groups such as the unemployed and daily workers without regular income.
The recruitment sectors include 23 projects such as ▲improving the environment of back roads including rainwater drains ▲urban park maintenance ▲support for meal service and cooking in cafeterias. Participants will work at the district office, community service centers, and other workplaces from July 1 to December 20.
Those under 65 years old work 4 hours a day, those 65 and older work 3 hours a day, and young people (aged 18-39) can work up to 6 hours if they wish. They will be paid 10,000 KRW per hour, with additional snack expenses, weekly holiday pay, and annual leave allowances, and will be enrolled in the four major social insurances.
Applicants must be residents of Gangseo-gu aged 18 or older with work ability, and the total family assets (including houses, land, cars, etc.) must be 499 million KRW or less. Those interested can apply by bringing their ID and required documents to their local community service center by the 17th.
The district office will select the final successful candidates based on criteria such as assets and income and notify them individually on the 24th of next month. More details can be found on the Gangseo-gu website under recruitment announcements.
Meanwhile, a total of 248 people participated in the Donghaeng Job Project in the first half of the year, working on road and park environment improvement, cultural and sports facility management, and more.
