Gyeongnam Office of Education Awards Government Honors and Commendations to 391 Distinguished Teachers
Education Superintendent Park Jong-hoon: "We Will Work Harder to Protect Teachers' Rights and Restore Education"
On the 13th, the Gyeongnam Office of Education held the 43rd Teachers' Day Government Award Ceremony and Superintendent's Commendation Presentation at the provincial education office.
According to the provincial education office, 391 teachers in the province were recognized for their contributions to the promotion of educational policies and changes in the educational field.
The Green Stripes Order of Service was awarded to ▲Kim Jeong-ju, teacher at Masan Dong Middle School, and ▲Hwang Seong-hyo, principal of Masan Naeseo Girls' Middle School, while the Jade Stripes Order of Service went to ▲Yang Gyeong-yoon, senior teacher at Jeonan Elementary School.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Commendation was awarded to 184 teachers including ▲Kim Mi-young, teacher at Uiryeong Kindergarten, and the Superintendent's Commendation was given to 189 teachers including ▲Park Mi-kyung, teacher at Yongwon Elementary School.
