Changwon Special City Operates Food Safety Accident Prevention Promotion Center
Citizens Say "Promotion Center Operation Seems Enthusiastic"
Changwon City in Gyeongnam recently operated a food poisoning prevention promotion center and conducted a campaign at the venue of the 13th Masan Agu Day Festival.
The campaign held on the 11th was attended by consumer food hygiene inspectors and others, who provided guidance to festival visitors and nearby restaurant owners on ▲food poisoning prevention tips ▲food poisoning caution information for May ▲May 14th as Food Safety Day every year ▲proper food ingredient storage methods, along with practical food poisoning prevention measures in daily life. In addition, promotions for Changwon’s popular restaurants, the restaurant hygiene rating system, and food culture improvement projects were conducted simultaneously.
Furthermore, festival attendees enjoyed a roulette wheel and a quiz event about the three main food poisoning prevention tips. Winners received hygiene products such as kitchen detergent, which received great responses.
Citizen Kim (from Munhwa-dong, Hapogu), who witnessed the event, said, “It was very good to see explanations and promotions about food safety being given to citizens,” and added, “Please continue to work harder for the health of Changwon citizens in the future.”
