Professor Kim Seongsu of Silla University Department of Aerospace Mechanical Engineering Receives Presidential Citation
Contribution to Patent Acquisition in Automotive Engine and Parts Technology Research
Shilla University (President Heo Nam-sik) announced on the 13th that Professor Kim Seong-su of the Department of Aircraft Mechanical Engineering at the university received the Presidential Citation on the occasion of the '21st Automobile Day.'
The award ceremony was held on the 9th at the JW Marriott Hotel Seoul in Seocho-gu, Seoul, alongside the '21st Automobile Day' commemorative event hosted by the Korea Automobile Mobility Industry Association and the Korea Automobile Industry Cooperative.
Professor Kim Seong-su was recognized for his contributions to the development of the automobile industry, including research on automobile engine and parts technology, obtaining patents, and establishing an industry-academia cooperation ecosystem for training high-level personnel in Busan-type smart manufacturing. He received the Presidential Citation recommended by the Korean Society of Automotive Engineers.
