Busan City Hosts 38 Brands from Busan Fashion Creation Studio and Padoble Together
Busan fashion apparel and shoes are reaching out to consumers with the goal of realizing the value of regional coexistence.
Shinsegae Centum City announced on the 12th that it will hold the ‘Busan Fashion Market’ at the central plaza on the basement level 2 until the 18th.
This event was organized with the purpose of promoting Busan-based fashion apparel and shoe brands and supporting market expansion to realize the value of regional coexistence.
The number of participating brands has significantly increased from 29 last year to 38 this year. Twenty brands from the ‘Busan Fashion Creation Studio,’ supported by Busan City and operated by Busan Technopark to discover and nurture promising fashion designers in Busan, are participating.
Products from 18 brands gathered in the curated shop ‘Padoble,’ which collects products from local small and medium-sized shoe companies, can also be found in one place. The department store is cooperating with Busan City and Busan TP to hold the Busan Fashion Market for the second consecutive year, playing a leading role in revitalizing the local economy.
Several distinctive brands are capturing customers’ attention. The canvas shoe brand ‘Bakesol,’ known for its manufacturing method of baking shoes in a steam kiln, and ‘Gongilsangsa,’ which has secured a fan base with its high-end street sensibility and recently succeeded in entering Musinsa, are also participating.
They propose unique items such as ‘Contoursong,’ which captures stylish colors in pajamas; ‘Synsially June,’ presenting a classic yet romantic look; ‘Tweedear,’ a contemporary brand with a lovely atmosphere; and ‘Lofit,’ which makes women’s athleisure shoes aiming to be the ‘Lululemon of Busan.’
