Gwangju Buk-gu Council Opens the 293rd Extraordinary Session
The Buk-gu Council of Gwangju Metropolitan City will hold the 293rd extraordinary session for a total of 12 days from the 13th to the 24th.
The agenda items submitted for this extraordinary session include a supplementary budget and fund operation plan amendment, 19 ordinances, 1 regulation, 1 consent item, and 1 resolution, totaling 24 items. From the 14th to the 21st, the first supplementary budget and fund operation plan amendment for 2024 will be reviewed.
The first supplementary budget amounts to 1.0713 trillion KRW, an increase of 90.9 billion KRW compared to the 2024 original budget. Major projects include ▲Senior Center Green Remodeling with 1.06 billion KRW ▲Drone ICT-based Forest Fire Management Platform Construction with 870 million KRW ▲Improvement of Childcare Staff Treatment with 2.19 billion KRW ▲Smart Village Distribution and Expansion Project with 1.25 billion KRW ▲Duam 2-dong Public Parking Lot Construction with 1.4 billion KRW, among others.
On the 22nd, standing committees will review general agenda items such as ordinances and consent items and conduct field activities at major project sites. On the 24th, the second plenary session will be held to finalize the approval of the agenda items reviewed by each standing committee, concluding the extraordinary session schedule.
