An imported sports utility vehicle (SUV) crashed into an apartment soundproof wall in Gaepo-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, injuring four people who were in the car.

According to a Yonhap News report on the 12th, at around 7:30 a.m. on the 11th, a Ford SUV driven by a man in his 40s crossed the center line and crashed into an apartment soundproof wall on an 8-lane road in Gaepo-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
The accident occurred when the vehicle, traveling in the 4th lane of the four lanes heading in one direction on Yangjae-daero, collided with a temporary structure at a roadside construction site, then swerved and rushed into the opposite lane.
The SUV quickly crossed all 8 lanes and the sidewalk, but it was confirmed that there were no vehicles or pedestrians hit. Due to the impact, glass fragments from the soundproof wall scattered, causing partial damage to three nearby vehicles. The four family members in the car sustained minor injuries and received treatment at a hospital.
Police investigation revealed that the driver was not under the influence of alcohol. Based on the driver's statement that he "panicked and turned the steering wheel," the police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
