Cheongsong-gun Youth After-School Academy, Talent Donation Activities for Family Month
The Cheongsong-gun Youth After-School Academy in Gyeongbuk visited the elderly care facility, Taeyang-ui Jip, on May 8th to celebrate Family Month by delivering over 50 carnation pots.

View original imageThe carnations were grown by more than 50 youths from the After-School Academy who planted seedlings in a garden, carefully nurtured them, and then transferred them into pots. Along with the flowers, they also delivered drawings and message cards expressing their wishes for the elders' continued health and happiness.
This talent donation activity was organized to provide youths with an opportunity to practice sharing gratitude with the local community and to experience the joy of giving.
A participating youth shared, “I worked hard with the hope of giving strength to the elderly who live alone. It was enjoyable and fun to watch the carnations grow, and I hope the elders feel happy every time they see the pots.”
