Gwangju Nam-gu, Recruiting Elementary Students for Dahamkke Care Center Branch 6
Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, has opened the 6th Dahamkke Care Center in Nodae-dong to strengthen the community-centered care system and alleviate childcare concerns for dual-income families, and is publicly recruiting facility users.
According to Nam-gu on the 8th, the 6th Dahamkke Care Center has officially started operations along with the opening of the Family Love Sharing Center.
The 6th Dahamkke Care Center is located on the first floor of the Family Love Sharing Center, with an area of 27 pyeong (89㎡), and is a space for elementary school students in need of care regardless of income level.
The center provides care services during times outside of regular elementary school education hours.
Common programs include free play, physical activities such as sports with external instructors, peer play, homework and reading guidance, and basic learning support. Special activity programs support language activities, character education, arts and physical education, science education, and various experiential activities.
The Dahamkke Care Center operates from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, and during school vacations, it is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The recruitment is for 20 people on a first-come, first-served basis, and the care center usage fee is 30,000 KRW per month for snacks for elementary school children.
Parents who wish to use the care service can inquire by phone at the 6th Dahamkke Care Center or visit the center to submit an application form.
