Ulju-gun Operates 'Oegosan Onggi Village Ulju Living Onggi Academy'
From the 8th to July 31st, Ulju-gun, Ulsan, will operate the "Oegosan Onggi Village Ulju Living Onggi Academy 1st Course" at the Oegosan Onggi Village Information Center as part of the Ulsan Citizen Academy city-funded project.
The Ulju Living Onggi Academy, held for the first time this year, was established to enhance residents' understanding of 'Onggi' and 'Onggi Village,' unique cultural resources of Ulju-gun, and to contribute to the restoration of local community values.
This education program will run for a total of 20 weeks over 3 months, including theoretical courses on the concept and history of Onggi, and practical courses on making everyday Onggi items such as cups, noodle bowls, and clay figurines.

An official from the county stated, "We hope for much interest and participation in the Ulju Living Onggi Academy, which is being operated for the first time this year," and added, "We will strive to operate various lifelong education programs tailored to the needs of Ulju residents."
