Professor Emeritus Jeong Yang-hee of Daegu Catholic University Donates 16 Metal Craft Works to Alma Mater
Donation Works Exhibition at Our School's Kim Seong-ae Museum 2nd Floor Hall of Fame Hall
Professor Emeritus Jeong Yang-hee of the Department of Metal and Jewelry Design at Daegu Catholic University donated 15 works, including "Moran I," to the university.
On April 23, Daegu Catholic University held a donation ceremony for Professor Emeritus Jeong Yang-hee's works and presented a plaque of appreciation expressing the heartfelt gratitude of all members.

View original imageProfessor Emeritus Jeong Yang-hee was appointed to the Department of Crafts at the College of Fine Arts of this university (then Hyoseong Women's University) in 1985 and retired in July 2020 after 35 years and 6 months of service.
She served as Dean of the College of Design in 2010 and as Director of the Amar Gallery of the College of Design in 2011. She actively held solo and invitational exhibitions at Imok Gallery (Daegu), Shinsegae Museum of Art (Seoul), and the Korean Cultural Center in Paris (France), contributing to the development of metal crafts at the university and in Korea.
Professor Emeritus Jeong Yang-hee said, "Being able to donate works that are like my alter ego feels like a great blessing from God," and expressed her gratitude, saying, "I thank President Seong Han-gi and all the members who made it possible for me to donate my works."

The donated works are displayed in the Hall of Honor on the 2nd floor of the Kim Seong-ae Museum at Daegu Catholic University.
