Icheon-si Supports Export Logistics Costs for Local SMEs
Up to 3 Million Won Limit with 70% Coverage
Gyeonggi-do Icheon City announced on the 7th that it will support 'export logistics costs' to alleviate the difficulties of small and medium manufacturing companies in the area.
This project, which was first implemented last year, supports up to 70% of the logistics costs reported for export within a limit of 3 million KRW. Interested companies can apply through the 'EasyBiz' website by the 31st of this month. Starting in June, the city will support logistics costs for selected businesses after document screening.
Last year, the city supported export logistics costs for 16 businesses through this project, and this year, the number of supported companies has been increased to 21.
Separately, to support companies' overseas expansion, the city plans to dispatch overseas market development teams to Japan (Tokyo, Osaka) in June, and to Singapore and Malaysia in October.
