BNK Gyeongnam Bank Practices ESG Management to Support Resource Circulation
Donation of 'Waste Electronic Products' to e-Sunhwan Governance
Employees of BNK Gyeongnam Bank have actively stepped forward to practice ESG management.
BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 7th that its employees donated 'waste electronic products' collected to e-Sunhwan Governance.
Jae-moon Lim, Executive Director of the Management Strategy Headquarters, visited the BNK Gyeongnam Bank headquarters and handed over the 'Certificate of Donation for Waste Electronic Products' to Na-young Kwon, Head of the Win-Win Cooperation Department at e-Sunhwan Governance.
BNK Gyeongnam Bank guided the purpose of collecting waste electronic products through the company intranet and received about 80 waste electronic products such as monitors, massage devices, and vacuum cleaners from employees at branches and headquarters departments.
These waste electronic products will be recovered as resources such as valuable metals and rare earth elements or recycled, and the proceeds will be donated.
Last month, BNK Gyeongnam Bank signed a 'Public Institution Together, Emptying, Sharing, Filling Business Agreement' with Gyeongsangnam-do and others to establish a sustainable resource circulation system through zero waste practice.
According to the business agreement, BNK Gyeongnam Bank collected waste electronic products from its employees and is making efforts to create an atmosphere to reduce the use of disposable products.
