Seodaemun-gu Holds Future Education Forum on 'Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence'

View original imageSeodaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seongheon) announced on the 7th that it recently held the "2024 Future Education Forum" on the 6th floor auditorium of the district office under the theme "The Era of Artificial Intelligence, Changes and Challenges in Education."
The forum was held with the purpose of sharing knowledge about future generations and future society and highlighting the core values and roles of future education. About 160 participants, including edu-keepers from Seodaemun-dong units, parents, students, and education officials, attended the forum to explore "Changes in Future Society" and "Response Strategies through Education."
Artist Yeom Donggyun performed a "drawing performance" combining metaverse, avatar technology, and artificial intelligence, and all participants shared opinions on the role of education in enhancing the potential of children in future society through an "audience participation talk."

Following this, Professor Choi Jaecheon, Chair Professor at Ewha Womans University, presented directions for future talents and education under the theme "Knowledge and Life in the Era of Artificial Intelligence." So-young Lee, Director of Microsoft Korea, emphasized the importance of community, leadership, and partnerships in the future era.
