The donation funds were raised by collecting and selling old clothes throughout April by employees and the elderly, as well as through fundraising efforts.
On that day, children from Nonsan Orphanage, members of the Nonsan Parangsae Choir, performed a play party for the elderly, singing the song "We Are All Precious" and shouting, "We can change the world together!"
Kim Young-sook (76), an elderly resident, responded by singing the song "You Were Born to Be Loved" to the children.
Director Yoo Yong-hee said, "We are grateful that the elderly, who have lived a hundred years, encourage the next generation and set an example by passing on a good future," adding, "We will continue activities that help the elderly participate in social activities and enhance their self-esteem."
