The governor personally visits citizens' daily lives to listen to their voices on-site and strives to resolve civil complaints and inconveniences.
In particular, the 2024 Service Day plans to expand its visits beyond village halls to include local businesses under the slogan "Closer to People's Livelihood."
Governor Son's first stop was the Pyeonghae Agricultural and Industrial Complex, where he listened to the difficulties faced by resident companies striving to revitalize the local economy amid challenging domestic and international economic conditions, and engaged in various discussions to seek win-win solutions between Uljin-gun and the companies.
He also visited nine resident companies, including the Uljin-gun Workshop for the Disabled producing office furniture and shoe racks, and 'DY Food,' a crab fried rice factory, touring production facilities and sharing meals with employees to offer encouragement.
After visiting the industrial complex, he went to the Wolsong 2 and 3-ri village halls to check on the elderly, listen to any inconveniences, and have conversations with them.
