Prosecutors Indict Former Secretary of Director No So-young for Embezzling 2.1 Billion Won
Former secretary A, accused of embezzling about 2.1 billion KRW of personal funds from Noh So-young, director of Art Center Nabi, has been indicted while in custody.
The Criminal Division 4 of the Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Yoo Hyo-je) announced on the 2nd that A was indicted in custody on charges of violation of the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Crimes (fraud) and forgery of private documents.
According to the prosecution, A, who joined Art Center Nabi in 2019, is accused of borrowing about 438 million KRW in loans under Director Noh's name over approximately four years and transferring about 1.194 billion KRW of deposits from Director Noh's account to their own account for use.
Additionally, by impersonating Director Noh, A deceived Art Center employees into transferring 500 million KRW under the pretext of litigation funds, embezzling a total of 2.132 billion KRW.

The prosecution confirmed through supplementary investigation that this amount was used for A's credit card payments and housing lease deposits.
