Heungkuk Fire & Marine Insurance Launches Women-Specialized Insurance... 'Mother-Daughter Subscription Discount'
Strengthening Cancer Coverage Related to Women
Heungkuk Fire & Marine Insurance announced on the 2nd that it will launch a women-focused insurance product called 'Non-dividend HeungGood All-in-One Women MZ Insurance,' offering a 'mother-daughter subscription discount' in celebration of Family Month. This product, which strengthens coverage for female-related cancers, will be released on the 3rd.
Mothers under the age of 50 with daughters aged 5 or older can receive a 2% discount on their monthly premium, and if the daughter also subscribes, the child's premium is discounted by 3%.
The product enhances coverage for female-related cancers such as breast cancer and thyroid cancer, and adds thyroid cancer surgery as a reason for premium waiver. If diagnosed with female-specific cancers (breast cancer, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, endometrial cancer, etc.), the insured will receive a full refund of all premiums paid up to the diagnosis date.
New coverage for general anesthesia cancer surgery costs related to cancer treatment has also been added. While insurers that provide coverage for general anesthesia cancer surgery typically set payment criteria at 4 hours or 6 hours, Heungkuk Fire & Marine Insurance has added 2-hour and 8-hour thresholds to increase coverage opportunities and payment amounts.

If the anesthesia time is 2 hours or more, 4 hours or more, 6 hours or more, or 8 hours or more, the insured will receive the combined amount corresponding to all applicable time brackets. For example, if surgery under general anesthesia lasts more than 8 hours, the insured qualifies for all four time brackets and will receive coverage equal to the sum of the payments for each bracket.
