S-OIL Donates 150 Million Won to Eco-Friendly Social Enterprises
ESG Management, Commercialization Funding, and Popup Store Operation Donations
S-OIL (CEO Anwar Al Hizazi) donated 150 million KRW to social enterprises pursuing eco-friendly businesses.
On the 2nd, S-OIL held a donation ceremony for the eco-friendly social enterprise contest support fund at the Yeolmae Nanum Foundation in Jung-gu, Seoul, and delivered a total of 150 million KRW. This donation will be used as business funds for five eco-friendly social enterprises selected through the Yeolmae Nanum Foundation, as well as support funds for pop-up stores and performance sharing meetings.

View original imageSince 2022, S-OIL has been supporting social enterprises related to eco-friendliness to realize social value and contribute to creating sustainable future value. The social enterprises selected through this contest are Lovely Paper Co., Ltd., which makes paper leather products using waste paper; Sikpan Cheonsa Co., Ltd., which provides reusable containers; Elephant Factory Co., Ltd., which recycles resources using waste toys; Touch for Good, which produces products from waste banners and conducts environmental education; and Happy Use Cooperative, which develops products using eco-friendly fabric materials.
S-OIL explained that this support project is meaningful for the ESG management activities of companies that create social value through innovative businesses necessary to respond to the climate crisis.
