Kim Kyung-ho, District Mayor, Expresses Gratitude: "We Will Convey Your Support for Neighbors in Need"
Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) announced on the 29th of last month that it received a donation of "Love Rice" from the Gwangjin-gu Chamber of Commerce of the Seoul Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chairman Son Young-jin).
The donated rice consists of 400 bags of 10kg rice, which were received as congratulatory gifts instead of flower wreaths at the inauguration ceremony of the Gwangjin-gu Chamber of Commerce held in March, valued at approximately 11 million KRW.
The district accepted the Gwangjin-gu Chamber of Commerce's intention to donate rice for neighbors in need and decided to deliver it to vulnerable groups facing difficulties in the community, including basic livelihood security recipients and lower-income classes, through the Gwangjin Disabled Family Support Center and Gwangjin Food Market.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, "We are grateful for the meaningful sharing by the Gwangjin-gu Chamber of Commerce. Their leadership in revitalizing the local economy and their heartfelt support for neighbors in need will serve as a model for the community. We will do our best to implement various policies that can promote local economic vitality in the future."
