Gwangju Superintendent of Education Lee Jeong-seon Makes Surprise Talent Donation at Neulbom School
Visit to Samgak Elementary School for Priority Implementation in the First Semester
Lee Jeong-seon, Superintendent of Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education, took on the role of a one-day instructor by visiting the ‘First Semester Priority Implementation Neulbom School’ on the 1st.
According to the Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education on the 1st, Superintendent Lee visited Samgak Elementary School that day and donated his talents by performing a surprise magic show for first-grade students participating in the Neulbom program.
Superintendent Lee’s talent donation, tailored to the students’ level, brought laughter and happiness to the students participating in the Neulbom program. He also delivered snacks and school supplies in celebration of Children’s Day, creating a warm atmosphere in the Neulbom classroom.
Currently, Samgak Elementary School operates a free program linked with the Korea Arts & Culture Education Service for two hours daily, and on Fridays, when demand is high, two classes are run, receiving great responses from students and parents participating in the Neulbom classroom.
A student from Samgak Elementary School participating in the Neulbom program said with a bright smile, “It was so amazing that flowers suddenly appeared in a pot that had nothing in it, and it’s really cool that the Superintendent can even perform magic.”
Superintendent Lee Jeong-seon said, “Ahead of the full implementation of Neulbom School in the second semester, we will do our best to continuously develop programs and manage quality for solid operation,” adding, “I hope Neulbom School will be a place where everyone is happy.”
