The Office announced that it will improve the functions of its work messenger and expand its operation as a promotional medium for faculty and staff starting from the 1st of this month.
The Office's work messenger, called the ‘Gyeonggi Education Integrated Messenger (GOE Messenger),’ is an internal staff messenger operated for communication and collaboration among employees under the Office. More than 120,000 staff members access and use it daily on average.
The Office has established a promotional space (banner) within the messenger where promotional content can be posted, becoming the first administrative agency to do so. This measure aims to secure momentum by strengthening policy promotion targeted at faculty and staff, who are the executors of Gyeonggi education policies, and to spread understanding and empathy for Gyeonggi education.
Through this space, the Office plans to provide ▲major Gyeonggi education policies ▲useful educational information ▲customized content for faculty and staff, and to expand opportunities for communication by conducting surveys and participation events involving the staff.
However, to prepare for possible errors that may occur during the stage of applying the improved functions to individual user computers, a phased update will be conducted over the next two weeks. Faculty and staff who update the messenger will be able to use the enhanced features.
In conjunction with the messenger revamp, the Office is holding a blog comment participation event for faculty and staff until the 10th of this month.
