Korea Rural Community Corporation Naju Branch Holds Water Management Field Briefing Session
The Naju branch of the Korea Rural Community Corporation held an on-site water management briefing on the 24th, attended by about 200 people including water facility monitors, operation representatives, farmers, and related organizations.
Through the briefing, the Naju branch explained the branch's major status, new projects, and the 2024 water supply plan. They also conducted focused training on preventing safety accidents by reinforcing regulations and explaining accident cases for water facility monitors, raising safety awareness to prevent accidents. Following this, a communication session was held to listen to difficulties in water management and conduct a Q&A.
In the rapidly changing era of climate change, an invited training session by the Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration was held on how to utilize weather information effectively in agriculture and daily life.
Soojin Kang, head of the Naju branch, stated, “I appreciate the hard work of the operation representatives and water facility monitors who strive for agricultural development under difficult conditions, and we will continue to do our best as a specialized water management institution to ensure stable water supply and disaster management.”
