Paul Bassett Opens Gyeongju Gyodong DT Store Showcasing the Beauty of Hanok
First Appearance as a Hanok-Style Store
Specialty coffee brand Paul Bassett announced on the 22nd that it has opened a drive-thru (DT) store featuring the beauty of a hanok in Gyodong, Gyeongju, Gyeongbuk.
Paul Bassett is operated by M's Seed, an affiliate of Maeil Dairies. The Gyeongju Gyodong DT store is the first hanok-style store introduced by Paul Bassett. It is designed as a space where traditional beauty and modern interior sensibility harmonize.
The store highlights traditional hanok features such as a pavilion with an octagonal shape, roof tiles, large beams, and a floor-level platform, creating an antique atmosphere. The high ceiling, large windows, and outdoor terrace provide an open space ideal for enjoying the scenery of Gyeongju, the ancient capital, according to the company.
