Gwangju Bank, Event for Customers Designated as Correspondent Foreign Exchange Banks
Gwangju Bank announced that it will hold an event for customers designated as "Transaction Foreign Exchange Banks" to assist those planning to make overseas remittances by June 30.
The designation of a "Transaction Foreign Exchange Bank" is a system under the Foreign Exchange Transactions Act that designates one bank in advance for transactions requiring focused management, allowing related transactions to be conducted only through the designated bank.
The event targets individual customers who have designated Gwangju Bank as their "Transaction Foreign Exchange Bank." Customers without overseas remittance history in the previous year can receive a 90% preferential exchange rate coupon for overseas remittances in US Dollars (USD), Japanese Yen (JPY), and Euros (EUR).
Additionally, all customers who remit more than 1 USD will receive a mobile coffee coupon worth 5,000 KRW, and if those customers subscribe to foreign currency savings or deposits, they will receive an additional coffee coupon worth 5,000 KRW.
