Osan-si Awarded 'Grand Prize' in Provincial Non-Tax Revenue Comprehensive Evaluation
Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 8th that it received the grand prize in the '2024 Comprehensive Evaluation of Non-Tax Revenue Management' hosted by Gyeonggi Province.
This evaluation assesses the non-tax revenue collection and revenue management operations over the past year in 31 cities and counties within the province. It evaluated five areas and nine indicators, including ▲non-tax revenue collection ▲arrears management ▲interest from agency heads ▲discovery of new revenue sources and system improvements ▲awards and dedicated organization operations.
Osan City explained that it received high praise for its professional arrears collection activities, such as ▲rapid bond securing through the unification of non-tax revenue arrears tasks ▲seizure of license plates from delinquent vehicles using enforcement vehicles equipped with a license plate seizure control system ▲and increasing the arrears settlement rate through active suspension of collection for payers who are impossible to collect from.
In addition, the city held non-tax revenue collection strategy meetings, sent foreign language translated notices to foreign delinquent payers, and conducted training for non-tax revenue officers.
