Jeonnam Province Designates 16 New Jeonnam-Style Preliminary Village Enterprises
Support for Job Creation and Revitalization of Local Economy
Jeonnam Province has newly designated 16 Jeonnam-type preliminary village enterprises to support job creation and revitalize the local economy.
According to the province on the 7th, this new designation was made by evaluating applications from corporations and organizations wishing to establish preliminary village enterprises since January, assessing community spirit, public interest, locality, business viability, and the appropriateness of business plans.
As a result, the total number of preliminary village enterprises in the Jeonnam region has increased to 125. The newly designated enterprises are expected to contribute to revitalizing the local economy and improving the quality of life for local residents by providing jobs for vulnerable groups such as the elderly and marriage immigrant women, as well as through village joint sales and regionally specialized income generation.
The selected preliminary village enterprises will receive subsidies of 20 million won for labor costs, operating expenses, facility and asset acquisition costs, along with support for sales channels and management consulting.
However, organizations that are not corporations must complete corporate establishment within two months after the support agreement to receive the subsidy.
