Woowa Brothers and Chungcheongnam-do Join Hands to Expand Agricultural Product Distribution Channels
Supporting Distribution Expansion Through Baemin Commerce
Baedal Minjok (Baemin) is joining forces with Chungcheongnam-do to boost the distribution of agricultural products. Baemin's operator, Woowa Brothers, announced on the 2nd that it has signed a 'Business Agreement to Expand Sales Channels for Agricultural Products' with Chungcheongnam-do.
This agreement was established to contribute to securing stable sales channels for smart farm agricultural products, rice, and grains produced by young farmers in Chungnam. High-quality horticultural products from the Chungnam region will also be introduced to consumers through Baemin to promote agricultural product sales and foster win-win cooperation with the local community.
The instant delivery shopping service Baemin B Mart will promote the expansion of sales of agricultural products produced in Chungnam, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, and pears. Chungnam agricultural products were listed on Baemin B Mart in 2022 and recorded sales of approximately 3 billion KRW last year.
Additionally, through the B2B (business-to-business) specialized platform Baemin Sanghoe and the hypermarket service 'Bulk Special Price,' Chungnam's rice and horticultural products will be supplied to restaurant owners and customers nationwide.
