Haman County Chilwon Library Hosts Various Events to Celebrate 'World Book Day'
Operation of Various Reading Programs Throughout April
Gyeongnam Haman County Chilwon Library announced on the 2nd that it will operate various events throughout April to celebrate World Book Day on the 23rd.
In celebration of 'World Book Day,' Haman County Chilwon Library plans to hold diverse events such as ▲‘End Overdue, Start Reading,’ which resets the overdue days for those who return borrowed books within the due date ▲‘Solitary Reader,’ which gives a canvas bag to those who read a book for one hour ▲‘Spring Full Book Loan,’ which gives mini succulent pots to the first 300 book borrowers.
The ‘Solitary Reader’ event, held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the 14th, will recruit 40 participants (20 at 10 a.m. and 20 at 2 p.m.) starting from the 4th. Applications can be made through the Chilwon Library website or by phone.

A library official said, “To celebrate World Book Day, we have prepared a variety of rich reading culture events to promote library use among residents. We hope this event will help spread a reading culture within the local community and provide an opportunity for people to get closer to the library.”
