The winner of this year's Best 3-Year-Old Filly title, the 5th Lunas Stakes (L class, 1600m), was awarded to ‘Eclipse Berry’ (owner: Jo Hansu, trainer: Seo Hongsoo), ridden by jockey Moon Seyoung.
The first race of the Triple Tiara series, the Lunas Stakes, was held on March 31 at LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam as the 5th race, featuring 16 fillies from Seoul and Busan competing fiercely.
In a race expected to be closely contested, ‘Eclipse Berry’ took an early solo lead and secured the victory.

View original imageWith this win, Eclipse Berry added her first victory of the season, recording a career record of 8 starts, 4 wins, 2 second places, and a place rate of 75.0%, emerging as a next-generation strong Korean filly. Trainer Seo Hongsoo, in charge of Eclipse Berry, earned his second Grade race honor with this victory.
At the awards ceremony that day, about 10 members of the horse racing supporters group ‘Dduiddui Mama’, composed of the MZ generation, attracted attention. The supporters handed out souvenirs such as carrot hats they made themselves, expressing their affection for Korean horse racing. Jockey Moon Seyoung, who met fans in their 20s and 30s, expressed gratitude for the love and support from the young fans.
