Ulju-gun Health Center to Increase Medical Expense Support for Rare Disease Patients
Expansion to 1,272 Target Rare Diseases
Ulju-gun Public Health Center announced on the 2nd that it will expand the number of rare disease medical expense support target diseases from 1,189 to 1,272 starting this year.
In addition, for the first time, it will support the purchase cost of corn starch for patients with Tangier disease, and the property criteria for patient households and dependent obligor households will be relaxed compared to the previous year so that rare disease patients in blind spots can also receive support.
The support targets are health insurance subscribers registered under the rare disease medical expense support project and the rare disease special case system. Nursing care expenses and special dietary purchase costs can also be applied for by medical aid recipients and low-income self-pay reduction beneficiaries.
