Gyeonggi-do Expands Support for Kaesong Industrial Complex Resident Companies... Up to 15 Million KRW per Company
Gyeonggi Province will continue to promote the support project for companies residing in the Kaesong Industrial Complex this year, entrusted to the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency.
Since 2019, Gyeonggi Province has been conducting corporate support projects through the Inter-Korean Exchange and Cooperation Fund for companies located in the Kaesong Industrial Complex within the province.
This year, Gyeonggi Province will support up to 15 million KRW per company, an increase of 2 million KRW compared to last year. In particular, a support project for environmental improvement through the deployment of field experts in consulting has been added.
Gyeonggi Province is holding a meeting related to the support project for companies operating in the Kaesong Industrial Complex.

Meanwhile, a satisfaction survey conducted last year on the supported companies showed scores of 4.60 and 4.47 out of 5 for contribution to commercialization preparation and sales increase, respectively. Sales increased by 1.024 billion KRW, and employment rose by 69 people.

Last year, Gyeonggi Province supported 16 out of 41 companies residing in the Kaesong Industrial Complex with technical support, market development, and customized consulting.
