Shilla Stay to Open Second Jeju Iho Tewoo Branch Next Month... First Leisure-Type Hotel
Jeju Iho Tewoo to Open on the 16th of Next Month
Specialized in Leisure and Recreation... Equipped with Swimming Pool and Cafe
Shilla Stay announced on the 2nd that it will open the leisure-type hotel 'Shilla Stay Plus' on the 16th of next month at Iho Tewoo, Jeju. Shilla Stay Plus is the 15th Shilla Stay and the first leisure-type hotel.
Shilla Stay Plus is a leisure-type hotel brand introduced by Shilla Stay, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, to respond to the demand in the leisure market. Compared to the existing Shilla Stay, it offers larger and more diverse room types, leisure facilities, an outdoor pool, poolside bar, and enhanced products for relaxation and leisure.
Shilla Stay Plus Iho Tewoo features a unique hotel design that blends with its location, rooms specialized for leisure and relaxation, an outdoor swimming pool, an outdoor cafe, and various other leisure facilities.
First, with its distinctive building design, many of the 211 rooms offer wide ocean views. Considering that many travelers to Jeju are families or groups of 3-4 people, multi-person rooms have been prepared. The rooms feature diverse themes and functions, such as bunker rooms with bunk beds that stimulate children's curiosity, and ondol rooms with heated floors instead of carpets.
The outdoor swimming pool, where guests can enjoy swimming while overlooking the sea, is the largest among Shilla Stay hotels. It is divided for use by families and couples to ensure a comfortable experience, and after swimming, guests can dine at the poolside bar. The cafe ‘Waveless,’ boasting an open view of Jeju’s sea, will also open together. Reflecting recent trends favoring cafes such as bakery pilgrimages and cafe tours, Shilla Stay plans to operate a separate cafe that is accessible not only to guests but also to external customers. Waveless, located on the 2nd floor with a total of 170 seats, consists of a couple’s section, family section, and rooftop.
Park Sang-oh, CEO of Shilla Stay, said, “On the occasion of Shilla Stay’s 10th anniversary, we are introducing the leisure-type hotel ‘Shilla Stay Plus’ based on the operational expertise we have accumulated so far. We will strive to make it a place of comfortable rest and enjoyable experiences for Jeju travelers and residents.”
