Changwon Coast Guard Completes 3.15 Marathon Wearing Life Jackets... "Wearing Sea Safety Belts is Essential!"
On the 31st, the Changwon Coast Guard participated in the 31st 3.15 Marathon held at the 3.15 Haeyang Nuri Park in Changwon, Gyeongnam, wearing life jackets.
The Changwon Coast Guard stated that they carried out a "Marine Safety Campaign with Local Residents," running while wearing life jackets to raise awareness of the importance of marine safety and encourage participation in creating a safe sea.

About 60 employees of the Changwon Coast Guard, including Chief Kim Young-cheol, completed the marathon course wearing life jackets among approximately 8,000 participants, emphasizing the importance of wearing life jackets at sea.
They operated promotional booths offering ▲life raft experiences ▲marine police uniform try-ons ▲cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training ▲raffle draws, and set up a photo zone where participants could take commemorative photos with the marine police characters Haenuri and Haeuri, as well as cast members from the TV entertainment show "Steel Troops 3."

The 3.15 Marathon was hosted and organized by the 3.15 Uprising Memorial Association and the 3.15 Marathon Preparatory Committee to highlight the historical value of the 3.15 Uprising, a democratization movement resisting electoral fraud. It was sponsored by Changwon Special City and Muhak Good Day, with Muhak managing the event for the 21st consecutive year.
