"Bringing You Memories" ... 2024 Jinhae Military Band and Honor Guard Festival Opening Ceremony Held

Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam successfully held the opening ceremony of the 2024 Jinhae Military Band and Honor Guard Festival at Jinhae Public Stadium.
The Jinhae Military Band and Honor Guard Festival is the largest military cultural content event in Korea, featuring 11 teams including the Republic of Korea Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and U.S. military bands, as well as 2 civilian marching bands, with over 760 participants delivering powerful marching performances, precise honor guard demonstrations, and patriotic parades, offering rare spectacles that can only be seen at the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival.

View original imageThe festival runs for three days from the evening of the 29th through the 31st, with marching performances held at Jinhae Public Stadium on the 30th and 31st.
Daytime performances start at 3 PM, and nighttime performances begin at 7 PM, each lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes. The fringe performances, which are traveling military band and honor guard shows, took place on the 30th at 6 PM at Changwon Sangnam Fountain Plaza, and on the 31st at 12 PM at Masan 3·15 Haeyang Nuri Park.
Additionally, the patriotic parade, where various genres of military marching performances can be enjoyed on the streets, will be held on the 31st starting at 1:30 PM from Bukwon Rotary and will proceed to the Public Stadium over 30 minutes.
